Erika Lantz is an award-winning audio producer and reporter who grew up in Minnesota. Her radio stories have aired on WNYC's Snap Judgment, NPR's All Things Considered, Here & Now, WBUR, and CBC, among others. She recently led the Kind World project at WBUR, Boston's NPR news station. Before that, she worked in WBUR's newsroom and curated PRX Remix.

Erika got into the habit of tape recording family and friends in middle school. She started making "real" radio years later, getting her start with KFAI in Minneapolis and then with APM's Performance Today, the nation's leading classical music show. She thinks of stories as songs.

Erika studied English literature at Yale University and trained in radio and multimedia at the Salt Institute for Documentary Studies.
